Can u identify this book cover. A famous book, by a famous author. Ok, its the cover of Zahir by Paulo Coelho (This one was the mostly widely used cover, there are other versions too). Now, what I liked in this photo? I was doing some splash shots, but this one came perfect with the lady captured perfectly inside the round splash. I just loved the art work on that cover, beautiful colours but i dont agree much with the authors version of love, that it can happen in an instant and has the power to change the world, that loving ones does not mean that you cannot love others. But i do like his other books. I love reading books like many people do, but there are the rest of them who just hate reading books. I just don't understand how come they never like it. I have always enjoyed reading the way we imagine, visualise each characters in our mind, as we go through the book, I wonder how our imagination works at that time. I do visualise the book as i read (well, i dont know about othe...
In my view these shots were quite good, cause i couldn't capture the splash effect this good previously. Have to improve, but when i captured these three droplets i was so happy. The background shows the rainy atmosphere. Capturing such moments always makes me happy, cause with plain eyes, this would just go off unnoticed. This reminds me of a poem Rhyme of the Rain by Rossiter Johnson How it pours, pours, pours, In a never-ending sheet! How it drives beneath the doors! How it soaks the passer's feet! How it rattles on the shutter! How it rumples up the lawn! How 'twill sigh, and moan, and mutter, From darkness until dawn. .
Often when i'm in some discussion related to colors and when i say that yellow is my favorite color, everyone would ask how can you like yellow. Maybe it doesn't list anywhere in their top list, but i just love each and every shades of yellow. Next would be white, green and blue. The color yellow actually was previously associated with the color worn by criminals but was chosen by the Buddhist faith as a symbol of humility and separation from a materialistic society. Therefore it is said to signify renunciation and being the color of earth, it is also a symbol of the equanimity of the earth. Recently there was this forward doing rounds in the net, asking a person some additions, and finally to name a color and tool, many end up saying red hammer, well since yellow was my favourite, red never came into picture, neither did i say hammer, so i belonged to the fewer 2% of the population. Where ever yellow is there i surely pay attention. Everyone has their choice and my vote goes t...
